Antique Victorian Old Cut Diamond Bar Pin Brooch

A beautiful Victorian old mine cut diamond bar pin brooch set in silver on gold.

This lovely piece is predominantly set with an elegant Victorian cluster set throughout with old mine cut diamonds in the traditional ‘cut away’ setting. The brooch was hand crafted in England and is estimated to be from the early 1890’s. Additionally, the pin has the advantage of having an added safety chain for extra security. This safety chain is attached to the pin by a clip that can easily be removed if the wearer desires.

Due to the style and design, this piece would be a perfect addition to any coat, jumper or lapel.

There is an estimated total old cut diamond weight of 0.90 carats (the central diamond weighing 0.50 carats). These diamonds range from I-L in colour with VS-SI clarity. For size reference, the bar pin measures 5.2 x 1.1 centimetres and has a gross weight of 4.1 grams. The bar aspect of the brooch is stamped for 18k.
