A beautiful early 1980’s Boucheron bird brooch set in 18k yellow gold.
This striking design depicts a perching bird and is composed of panels of polished yellow gold. The grooves in the body of the bird are magnificent and create a beautiful effect once worn. The bird is accented with a pear cut chalcedony eye and an onyx beak which contrast nicely against the yellow gold. The brooch is secured to reference with a double pin and roller clasp fitting.
Due to the design the piece would look fantastic on a jacket or lapel.
For size reference the bird measures approximately 3.8 x 8.4 (from the widest points) and there is a gross weight of 30.9 grams. The signature can be found at the back of the bird on the pin fitting. Signed BOUCHERON, 750.
