A beautiful pair of vintage Art Deco pearl and diamond drop earrings set in platinum.
Each earring is firstly composed of a circle motif, set throughout with old mine cut diamonds. From this motif hangs a large south sea white pearl which hangs from an articulated bail. They are secured to reverse with a post and butterfly back fitting.
Due to the size and design these earrings stand out beautifully on the ear and could be worn for a variety of occasions.
There is a total diamond weight of 0.30 carats, estimated as G-H in colour with VS clarity. For size reference each earring measures 2.7 centimetres in length and there is a gross weight of 8.8 grams. Due to their age and provenance the earrings are not hallmarked but have been tested for platinum.
