A beautiful pair of Art Deco style convertible diamond and sapphire target earrings set in platinum.
Each earring is predominantly set with a sparkly 1.04 carat old European cut diamond which is three claw set to centre. Each diamond is then elegantly surrounded by a target of calibre set French cut sapphires echoing that of the Art Deco era. The sapphires are all perfectly matched in colour being a gorgeous royal blue colour that pops nicely on the ear. Uniquely, the target element of the design is removable, an acts as a ‘jacket’ around the diamonds. This gives the wearer the versatility to add or remove the pop of blue colouring!
Due to the design and size of the earrings, they could easily be worn for a variety of occasions. The contrast of the white and blue is a classic Deco-esque pairing and the earring can be paired with a variety of jewellery styles.
There is an total old European cut diamond weight of 2.09 carats. These diamonds are estimated to be J-K in colour with SI clarity. There is a total sapphire weight of 1.06 carats, and all are perfectly matched in colour. Hallmarked PT950 for platinum. For size reference each stud measures 1 centimetre in diameter (with the target) and there is a gross weight of 6.4 grams.
