A beautiful Art Deco inspired diamond and ruby double target ring set in platinum.
The ring is predominantly set with a sparkly round old-cut diamond in a bezel setting. Surrounding this beautiful diamond are two targets – one comprised of channel set 16 vibrant red French-cut rubies with a further ring of grain set with diamonds. These grain set diamonds flow round nicely to the shoulders of the ring that meet a polished platinum band.
Due to the size and design, this could be paired nicely with a wedding and/or eternity band. The ring could also be worn as a fabulous cocktail ring!
The central diamond is 2.34 carats, graded H-I in colour with S11 clarity. The estimated total weight of the additional diamonds is 0.65 carats, ranging from H-I in colour with VS-S clarity. The estimated total weight of the rubies is 1.00 carats. They are perfectly matched in colours.
The ring is currently a UK size K (USA size 5 ¼), but this can be sized upon request for a perfect fit. For size reference, the ring head measures approximately 1.6 centimetres in diameter, and the band measures approximately 0.18 centimetres in thickness. The ring has a gross weight of 4.9 grams.
The ring is hallmarked SL (for Susannah Lovis), 950 (for platinum), London, l (for 2010). Lastly, a valuation for insurance and authenticity will accompany this piece.
