A distinctive Art Deco pearl, sapphire and diamond tassel pendant necklace in platinum, circa 1930. The pendant is composed of an openwork geometric cap grain-set throughout with round-cut diamonds below an articulated diamond-set hoop and terminals, the cap suspending 26 strands of natural pearl and sapphire beads. The pendant is secured on a strand of cultured pearl and sapphire beads, leading to a marquise-shape click-shut geometric clasp set with two sapphire cabochons, six baguette-cut diamonds and a vertical marquise brilliant-cut diamond.
