Cartier Maillon Panthere Three-row Diamond Necklace in 18K Yellow Gold

A simply stunning vintage Cartier Paris three-row diamond Maillon necklace set in solid 18k yellow gold; circa early 1998.

Finely crafted in 18K yellow gold with round-brilliant cut diamonds weighing 6.10 carats total featured on alternating Maillon links. This style of link is a classic Cartier design is set with round brilliant cut diamonds – a popular choice which started in the 1990’s. The links then follow through to a secure tongue clasp fitting with an added safety catch.

There is a total of 240 round brilliant cut diamonds set within the piece which has a combined carat weight of 6.10 carats. These diamonds range from E-F in colour with VVS clarity. The length of the necklace is 42-centimetres and measures 0.8 centimetres in thickness. The total weight of the necklace is exactly 81.2 grams. The necklace is signed and hallmarked on the clasp with French hallmarks, Cartier, 750, for 18k gold, and with the serial number 759345, accompanied with Cartier service papers, adding further authenticity to the piece.
