A wonderful diamond set Fope necklace set in 18k yellow and white gold.
The necklace is firstly composed of a lovely thick 18k yellow gold link chain. To the center of this chain are twelve individual white gold bars which are pave set with round brilliant cut diamonds. These diamond bars are free moving on the necklace however there are tiny raised bars on the chain that prevent them from swiveling around to the back of the neck once on.
The necklace is from the Vendome collection, which was a popular Fope collection in the mid 2000’s. Due to the design this piece could easily be worn for everyday wear or alternatively dressed up for more special occasions.
The piece measures exactly 43 centimetres in length and has a width of 1.2 centimetres. There is a gross weight of 73.30 grams. There is an estimated total carat weight of 0.50 carats which are estimated to be G-H in colour with ranging clarity of VS1-VS2. The necklace is fully secured with a hidden clasp and figure of 8 safety clasp. Hallmarked 750 for 18k yellow gold, signed FOPE on the clasp. Estimated to be from 2006.
