Vintage Boucheron ‘Frou Frou’ Diamond Tassel Necklace

A unique Boucheron ‘Frou Frou’ diamond pendant necklace set in 18k yellow gold.

From Boucheron’s now discontinued Frou Frou collection, the pendant is composed of a number of flexible fluted yellow gold cups. These cups are connected in a stacked design and hang from a beautiful yellow gold chain hoop fitting from which a round brilliant cut diamond is bezel set to the top. Hanging from the bottom is a display of yellow gold box link tassels. These tassels match the chain, from which the pendant hangs, perfectly and all move freely. Due to the box link design, the tassels catch the light subtly and make the pendant an extremely eye-catching piece to wear. There is a grand total of 63 round brilliant cut diamonds within the piece.

Due to the design and size this pendant could be worn for a variety of occasions. This piece could be worn for everyday or, alternatively dressed up for more special occasions. The design is incredibly unique and expertly crafted which is what makes the piece so desirable.

There is an estimated total diamond weight of 1.95 carats. These diamond are estimated to be F-G in colour with VVS1 clarity. The pendant itself measures 13 x 2 centimetres and there is a combined weight of 47.6 grams (chain included). The necklace hangs at 21 inches. Lastly the chain is signed and hallmarked BOUCHERON, OR750 (for 18k gold), with the serial number E31243.
