A beautiful vintage Mauboussin amethyst and diamond cluster pendant necklace set in 18k white gold.
The pendant is predominately prong-set with a round mixed-cut amethyst, surrounded by 21 round brilliant-cut diamonds. The diamonds are set in micro-claw settings, which beautifully highlights their sparkle and contrasts beautifully with the amethyst colouring. The pendant hangs elegantly from a 17-inch white gold trace chain.
Due to its design and size, this piece can be worn for a variety of occasions. It is suitable for both everyday and special occasions.
The estimated total weight of the diamonds is 0.10 carats, ranging from G-H in colour with VS clarity. For size reference, the pendant measures approximately 1.5 centimetres in height and 1.1 centimetres in width. The necklace measures approximately 41-44 centimetres in length (with a jump ring), with a gross weight of 2.5 grams.
