Vintage Cartier Etrier Diamond Necklace in Yellow Gold

A beautiful vintage Cartier Etrier diamond necklace set in 18k yellow gold, circa 1990s.

From the discontinued Etrier collection, the necklace is centrally composed of Etrier motifs set with 26 round brilliant-cut diamonds. It is connected with solid yellow gold flat links in the iconic Cartier three-row brick link design. The central links are slightly wider than the side, which stand out beautifully on the neck. The necklace is secured with a push tongue clasp and a hidden safety clasp, which gives the wearer extra security, making the piece a perfect contender for everyday wear.

The Etrier design is a timeless Cartier favourite due to how the links lie flat and comfortably on the neck. Because each aspect is an individual articulated link, once on, these lovely grooves have a beautiful effect and emphasise the contrast of the gold colouring. The diamonds bring the necklace a perfect amount of sparkle.
