Vintage Tiffany & Co. 1980’s Diamond and Ruby Bombé Ring

An extremely striking vintage Tiffany & Co. diamond and ruby bombé ring set in 18k yellow gold.

This beautiful piece predominantly features two bombé motifs, completely pave set with approximately 113 round brilliant cut diamonds. The motifs are pieced together seamlessly and are bordered to one side with a line of calibre cut rubies. The contrast between the diamonds and rubies is superb and the design echo’s the 1980’s style perfectly.

Due to the size and design of the piece it could be worn for a variety of occasions!

There is an estimated total diamond weight of 4.50 carats. The diamonds are estimated to be E-F in colour with VVS-VS clarity. There is an estimated total ruby weight of 0.90 carats and all have been beautifully matched in colour. The ring is currently a UK finger size M ½ (USA size 6 ¼). Due to the design, this ring could be slightly altered to fit. The piece is signed and stamped T&Co., 750, with London hallmarks and the date letter for 1989 (circa). For size reference the head of the ring measures .9 centimetres in width and sits 0.9 centimetres off the finger. There is a gross weight of 22.4 grams.
